Canadian Microbiome Initiative. The CIHR Institute of Infection and Immunity is pleased to announce the launch of the Emerging Team Grant: Canadian Microbiome Initiative (CMI). This initiative will provide an opportunity for multidisciplinary teams of Canadian researchers to analyze and characterize the microbes that colonize the human body.
