Call for Abstracts: Poster session and short talks
The ISAPP 2026 scientific symposium will feature a poster program where attending scientists can display their work during the symposium and present it during a dedicated scientific poster session.
Poster session themes will include research on probiotics, prebiotics, postbiotics, synbiotics, fermented foods, or other related microbiome or biotic areas of interest. All study types are welcome (including. in vitro, animal, pre-clinical, and clinical work). All content must be scientific, not promotional, in nature, and research should be presented in a manner consistent with rigorous reporting in a scientific journal. Studies that feature proprietary formulations are welcome as long as the formulation is adequately defined, results reported objectively, and conflicts of interest disclosed.
A small number of submissions will be selected for short talks (10 mins) in the symposium program and/or main program. Please indicate in your submission whether you would like to be considered for the poster session, oral presentation, or both.
Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by a selection committee for scientific merit, quality and relevance, and selected abstracts will be notified of their acceptance into the poster or short talk program. Poster session requirements

Attendees are responsible for producing, printing, transporting and setting up their poster on site – designated poster boards and fixing materials will be provided. Non-peer reviewed statement
Posters presented at ISAPP 2026 will be evaluated and selected by a committee of experts, but have not routinely been subject to the same peer review process required for publication in a scientific journal. As such, the findings presented should be considered preliminary until a peer-reviewed publication is available.
