ISAPP 2026 Symposium Sessions

ISAPP’s 2026 annual meeting in Tokyo will begin with a one-day symposium program, open to external registration. This symposium brings together expert scientists from across the globe for an interactive forum for learning, community building and advancing the science.
The one-day symposium sessions have been co-developed with the Japanese Society for Lactic Acid Bacteria, the Intestinal Microbiology Society, and the Japanese Association for Food Immunology. Session chairs from ISAPP and these local scientific societies have curated a program featuring local and international scientists to maximize international knowledge exchange and professional connections.
The symposium is included within the annual meeting registration for invited experts, industry members and SFA delegates.
Registration
Registration is now open for the one-day symposium plenary program on October 6, 2026. All are welcome to register. (Invited experts and ISAPP industry advisory committee (IAC) members register here for the three-day program.)
Program
The symposium sessions will bring together an engaging lineup of speakers from both near and far, providing unique opportunities for global exchange and networking.
Abstract submission
Abstracts are now being accepted for consideration for the poster session and short talks in the meeting program. Submissions close 30 June 2026.
Social event
Symposium registration includes a networking reception and poster session on the evening of October 6, 2026. Details to be announced.
Venue
Our venue for the 2026 ISAPP symposium and annual meeting is the centrally-located Akasaka Intercity Conference Center (AICC) in Tokyo, Japan.
